Cooking broccoli

Broccoli is one of the most heats sensitive vegetables out there, to retain its greenish color, follow the step below.
Step one: Boiled the water in medium high heat. ( Wait until the water come to a boil then turn off the heat).
Step two: Add the broccoli in the hot water, covered and let cook for 5 to 7 min.
Tips: after 5 minutes, pick a bud and taste to see if it is eatable or can be eating without further need to cook. If not leave the broccoli for 1 to 2 minutes more.
Step three: After it is cooked, poured cold water on the broccoli.

Tips: When it comes to cooking any green veggies, there are two important things to keep in mind.
1. To retained its greenish color.
2. To retained its nutrients.
To retain the greenish color requires less amount of cooking time.
To retain its nutrient requires adding a lesser amount of water.
